There is a lot of government land throughout the city and surrounding areas that could be filled with Trees and shrubs to increase biodiversity and produce shade. These areas will reduce mowing costs, which over time will offsetting the cost of transforming them. These areas include:

  • City Parks

  • Rivers, streams, waterways

  • Right of Ways

  • NRD properties
